Winning Story 401
Why is a Winning Story so important?
Most people are fairly comfortable describing their employment history and skill sets. However, today’s marketplace if far too competitive to get by with this information alone. Nowadays companies want to hear your “story”. They want to learn more about who you are as an individual, under what circumstances are you most successful and how well you will work in their culture. The winning story is what sets you apart from the competition and it will guarantee you will connect with the right hiring manager.
How do we create a winning story?
We will thoroughly explore your work history citing specific experiences where you were at your best. We look beyond the resume! Most of this information will come out through a preparation worksheet.
Our goal is to uncover your “key success patterns” which will become the core of your story. From there, we will identify supportive data to strengthen your delivery. Finally, we will craft a killer story that will capture the essence of who you are as an individual, a team member and a vital contributor to the organization.
Where do we do this and how long does it take?
First, you will complete the preparation worksheet. Then we will meet either in person, over the phone or through Skype. Most sessions last no longer than two hours.
